Hi! My name is Rob(ert) Phillips and I am a highly experienced Drupal developer and designer, this is my story and background. Several years ago I found myself wondering what I could do to maximize efficiency, scalability, and style of my clients websites. After weeks of research I stumbled across the open-source content management system (CMS) known as Drupal. It's popularity was growing and the demand for good reliable developers was high. I reached out to many start-up firms who were using Drupal as a basis for business, until I finally landed a designer position working on mostly mom-and-pop shop sites. Sticking with my guts, I kept on going and eventually was promoted to the role of senior developer.

Soon, I found myself working on progressively larger scale projects that would challenge my abiltiies within Drupal environment. Clients began to funnel in requests for advanced functionality, questioning if Drupal could handle the ever growing customization of the dynamic web. Pushing myself to provide my clients with the most cutting-edge development, I became fluent in PHP, jQuery/JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, XML, and other technologies. This opened a new door of custom module development using Drupal's very well built internal API. The possibilities were limitless!

During this boom I worked with high-profile clients from Warner Bros. Records, Discovery Education, A&E Lifetime, and Sony Music/BMG. With well over 100 projects under my belt, I gained a wealth of experience and knowledge which I apply towards my passion as a designer and developer for Drupal. The era of open-source content management is here and I am sitting right on top of it.
